Lars Johansson is an engineering leader specialising in electric powertrains, propulsion systems and power electronics, with over 35 years of experience in the automotive and electric mobility industry. He has held senior engineering and leadership roles with Volvo Cars in Sweden and China, Saab Automobile, and Ola Electric, where he served as Director – Propulsion Systems. He is currently Engineering Lead at IRP Systems India, bringing extensive international experience in electric propulsion and EV powertrain engineering. His career spans the development and leadership of advanced electric-drive technologies across global automotive markets.
